Domi is a intense little guy who has tons of love to give. He has been in our foster program for a few years now after being returned from a placement. Originally this sweet boy lived in a apartment and rarely got out, after getting out 2X and nipping a child while chasing them down the street we were contacted. Domi was a very nervous and unsocialized dog originally, he has been in 2 foster homes during his time with BCRO and we have worked hard to build his confidence and skills.
Domi is very intense and easily stimulated with new dogs, he will either need to be a only dog or live with a dog that will set it's boundries with him. He lives happily in foster care with multiple dogs but we are always careful when introducing new dogs into the mix. Once introduced he does very well.
This boy has a tendency to run and a unreliable recall when free, he will need someone with a secure fenced area for him to run and play, he loves to go for hikes and walks on his leash or long line and even will swim and fetch his frisbee.
Domi is housebroken and crate trained. He is very affectionate and loving with his people once he warms up. He is not comfortable around children.
