MAC (This dog as not been seen or evaluated by BCRO)
URGENT!
Macintosh (Mac) is a 12 year old pure bred Border Collie who needs a loving home. He is in excellent health, except for some difficulty with going up stairs. He enjoys his long walks and short runs, and he loves being outside. He is great with people, including children, and gets along well with most dogs.
Mac is up to date on his shots and has been neutered. He may need some medication for itching in the summer months. He also has an occasional stubborn moment or two, but in general is a very good dog.
Mac has lived his whole life with one couple who are now elderly and unable to care for him. He would do well in a home with a big yard and few stairs and especially with people who would enjoy his affectionate nature and companionship.
GRADY
  
Grady is an active 5 year old short haired, pure bred border collie. He is neutered and has been very well taken cared for and very much loved. He has attended numerous levels of obedience and agility. He loves ball retrieving, great with a frisbee and is a good swimmer. He lives with another small dog and a very active 3 year old boy, and interacts great with them.
So you say to yourself then if he is such a good boy why does he need a new home?
Grady's owner lost his wife to cancer in May of this year. She was 32 years old. A year and a half prior they had adopted a wonderful little one year old boy named Jordan. The family was very happy, active and the dogs were a big part of their lives. They were close to the family cottage. All was happy and manageable.
Unfortunately his owner is finding it too much to look after the dogs and his son, Grady is not getting the exercise or personal attention that he needs. This is very difficult for them but they are most concerned about Grady's best interest. He is a great dog seeking a great home!
TOCOMA

Tocoma has a super curly coat that DOES shed!
Neutered, up to date with vaccinations, heart worm negative,
This lovely boy visited us recently at "Dogs On Campus" for a evaluation...
He has a wonderful temperament and was happy to interact and take kibble even while in a new environment.
This dog will do well in a home that continues to build his confidence and social skills, he seems super keen to please, has a very soft nature so will require a home that will continue his training with positive methods.
Tocoma has a nice structure and appears to be quite athletic.. if someone put in a bit of time with this boy he would make a awesome partner in sports / obedience.
